This was taken in Dongdaemun market, one of the oldest and largest markets in Korea. This woman was peeling garlic cloves on a cold windy day.
This is the beginning of a new series of photos of people's hands. I've always been interested in the shape and textures of hands. I'm trying to capture this variety through the lens.
