Another one in the series. After reading some of your comments, and working on some of these photos, I need to get out and take some more shots. This and previous shots were all taken in one trip on the subway when I had a relatively vague idea of what I wanted to do. I think I now have a clearer idea about where I am going with this - originally I had conceived these images as b&w and close-cropped. The successful shots that I have posted have changed my opinion on this. I want to move out a bit and get more of the context in the shot. Thank you again for your kind and helpful comments. Regards, Aidan

The blue veins under the skin are wonderful.

The whole thing works so well for me - so much warmth in the colouring, the character in each shot of the hands, I wonder what they've done, what they'll do next, where they're going... A lovely series.

A powerful shot !

I would have to say it is perfect as it is, especially the cropping and the contrast in tones between the clothing and the hands. If you had specifically dressed her for the shot it couldn't have worked out any better. Serendipity is the photographer's best friend.

Fantastic mate, i'm glad I found this site. Great work, for me the framing and post-production treatment is excellent, very involving pieces yet they retain subtlety. Again, fantastic work!

These are great shots. Did you just take them or did you ask these people to pose?
