After climbing up the mountain, making our way through the temple complex, we were rewarded with this view back across the valley. One of the things that I find so attractive about Korean temples is that there are so many facets and layers of surfaces. One rarely is looking at just a wall; there is often an over-hanging roof from a nearby building obscuring a portion of the wall, or another wall is branching off. I find this layering of surfaces really attractive.

intersting DOF. This is really nice. I think it needs way more contrast. Tones are a little muddy.

Wonderful textures and forms here. Looks excellent in black and white. I love the beautiful curved lines of Korean temple roofs. The style seems to be somewhere in between Chinese and Japanese to me.
