Wall shadows, Forbidden City

On a hot August day, at noon, the shadows cast on the immense walls were impressive. The walls in this shot are about 10 meters tall - truly an impressive defense against attack.
The narrow walls with their overhanging tiled roofs cast some beautiful shadows; all reinforced by the red colour.
