This is the way you travel around in the delta. There are roads of course, but travelling by ferry is often the most practical.
The water is quite murky - a kind of tea-brown. In the late evening and early morning, it is a wonderful surface for light to reflect off. Perhaps the sediment in the water helps this (?)
